I can say “I was abused” out aloud for the first time ever. I now have coping strategies and grounding techniques and can let others know how I am feeling.
I have gone from being in a very low, suicidal place with no want to do anything to resuming work, having a healthier outlook on life and planning for my future.
I now recognise triggers. I can use grounding techniques. I’m better at letting others know how I’m feeling and I have different coping strategies.
