Research Engagement Officer

£24,000 per year

Full-time or part-time (35 hours (part time considered)

Contract (Fixed Term until 31st March 2025, with possible extension)

Job description:

The main responsibilities of this post are to coordinate and facilitate engagement with Stepping Stones service users and others affected by childhood sexual abuse who are from the LGBTQ+ community, to ensure that their voices are heard, and that their views are represented, in relation to the delivery and development of services for those affected by sexual violence.

This post involves directly engaging with adult survivors from the LGBTQ+ community to enable them to take part in research activities including 1-2-1 interviews and focus groups.

It also involves supporting the work of project staff in our two partner agencies, namely New Pathways and Umbrella Cymru.

This post does require travel and some evening and weekend working.
