Research and Engagement Officer
The post holder may be located anywhere in Wales
Wage: £24,000 per year
Full-time or part-time (35 hours (part time considered))
Contract (Fixed Term until 31st March 2025, with possible extension)
The main responsibilities of this post are to coordinate and facilitate engagement with Stepping Stones service users (either by Face to Face interviews or via Teams) and others affected by childhood sexual abuse who are from the LGBTQ+ community. The intention is to ensure that their voices are heard, and that their views are represented, in relation to the delivery and development of services for those affected by sexual violence.
This post involves directly engaging with adult survivors from the LGBTQ+ community to enable them to take part in research activities including 1-2-1 interviews and focus groups.
It also involves supporting the work of project staff in our two partner agencies, namely New Pathways and Umbrella Cymru.

The successful applicant can be based anywhere in Wales and may work from home or can be based in one of our Partners’ locations (Stepping Stones North Wales are based in Wrexham, New Pathways are based in Cardiff and Umbrella Cymru are based in Hengoed, Mid-Glamorgan).
