  • The National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) supports survivors recovering from abuse. They offer lots of free resources on their website:

HELPLINES

  • The Samaritans: a confidential service running 24 hours a day, every day providing emotional support over the phone or email. Please be aware that you do not need to be feeling suicidal to use their service.

  • The All Wales Domestic Abuse & Sexual Violence Helpline is free to use & open 24 hours a day, every day offering support & information. Stepping Stone’s phone diverts to this service when our office is closed.

  • Standing Ground Helpline offers support & information to adult survivors of different types of childhood abuse in North Wales. Lines are open Mon ?Fri: 10am -2pm & 7pm ?11pm, Sat ?Sun: 12am ?12pm.

    • CAIS is a charity working in North Wales who offer support (including counselling) for people experiencing issues with drugs & alcohol use.
